The Atlantic Shore Devils won the New Jersey 14 yr. Old Babe Ruth State Title in dramatic fashion by winning 6 straight games out of the losers bracket after losing the opener to Hamilton 5-2. Javier Landron swiped the Tournament MVP by smashing 3 Home Runs and notching 17 RBI's. A.J. Holland and Kevin Kaplan shut practically every opponent down they faced while on the mound with each recording ERA's of under 1.00. Atlantic Shore advanced to the Mid Atlantic Regionals held in Clifton Park , New York. |
Devils Make Some NOISE !!!
The Mid Atlantic Regionals turned out to be an experience of a lifetime for the Devils players , coaches and families. On this funfilled journey , Atlantic Shore finished the season with a 16-4 record and took 4th place at the Regionals. Atlantic Shore defeated upper Darby in their opening game before falling to MAR Champs Frederick Maryland. While in the Losers bracket they defeated a strong Syracuse team only to fall to defending World Series Champs , Rudy's Baseball Academy ,out of Metro New York . |
